it has been 13 years (see: brazil football circa 1998, see post above) since nike has truly produced a commercial that mesmerizes and represents the true spirit of the sport and its culture.
but with this piece of work and their sponsorship of the french national football team beginning this year, hopefully we won’t have to wait that long until we see another…the new home jersey looks pretty good too…

3 pt game-winner at the buzzer…
the only true way to stop kevin durant is if he is on the bench.
the first time we met kevin was in 2008 at the nba all-star game in new orleans. it was his rookie season and he was along for the ride at a nike sponsored community center gym rebuild in the 9th ward (starring lebron james). no one really noticed him or knew who he was then, but we bet they all do now…

we all know that dwyane leads by example and saves his voice for the court…so it’s probably not much of a surprise that we haven’t heard too much about “flash” this season.
but watching him play against the clippers tonite, just reminded us how fierce d-wade
truly is…he slashes to the basket with the greatest of ease, finds his teammates and plays tenacious defense.
his new nike brand jordan ads are tagged with “dominate another day”,
but we believe it should be “dominate everyday”, because he just does…

urban meyer said it right during pre-game, “if auburn had 1 week to prepare for oregon - oregon wins, but auburn has had 36 days to prepare, so they will not be surprised by oregon’s uptempo offense.”
