it doesn’t matter that this year’s pro bowl had the highest tv ratings in 11 years…
for football fans, a poor excuse for a pick-up game was better than no football at all.
if the nfl considers this a “success”, then not only is it a slap in the face to the fans, but a disservice to its players and the league; a farce that has should share absolutely no reference with an “all-star” game…
the only benefit of scheduling the pro bowl the week before the super bowl is that football fans no longer have to end their season with a whimper, but instead, hopefully with a super bowl bang.
